We are happy that you have expressed an interest in Scholastic Achievers "Where learning happens naturally". Below you will find our rates. Additionally, you will find our Kindergarten Readiness session which begins Spring/Summer 2021. We look forward to meeting you and hope that you find our services and rates to be a good fit for your child and family. 

 

Rates: offered throughout the full academic year 

Kindergarten Readiness-

Our kindergarten readiness sessions are

2 (3 week sessions) from 8:15am - 12:15pm

 

The three-week session is designed specifically to focus on building and or enhancing the skills needed for a successful kindergarten experience and beyond. Our sessions targets what YOUR scholars need. At the end of your 3-week session, you will see how your child has developed into one amazing scholar. Space is limited!

Requirements: must be registered to attend kindergarten or pre-k for Fall 2021 ( ages 4-5) 



Homework Coaching-
We offer individual and group homework coaching sessions.  Students learn effective time management skills, study skills, memorization techniques, and test-taking skills.  Additionally, each session provides the learner with homework assistance.



Tutoring-

Scholastic Achievers can assist your learner with multiple subjects.  We offer tutoring in Language Arts, Math, Sciences, and Social Studies.  Some of our most popular subjects are:

 

Science (Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology)

English (Writing Skills, Grammar, Vocabulary, Critical Reading)

Math (General Mathematics, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry)

Social Studies (U.S. History, World History, Geography, Civics)

Academic Readiness -

Recommended: 30-45 minutes 2 times a week

Our *recommended plan includes a minimum of two one-hour sessions each week. 

 

This option is recommended after a full assessment and consultation with child and family. Research shows that two or more sessions provides the student and coach with the appropriate amount of time to address a learning challenge, strength and outcome while providing age appropriate breaks during the 1 hour session. The second weekly session will focus on skill building, reinforcement and review with introduction  of the next week task were appropriate 

 

Light: 45 minutes per week consist of one hour of one on one enrichment each week

 

Our *light plan can be ideal for students who need less enrichment or those parents who are looking for advanced enrichment for their scholars. You may even select this plan if you desire for your scholar to remain on track while on break from intercession or summer break. 

 

*a registration fee of $35 is required at time of registration
